Applique of the "Waves"

I used many commercial fabrics and created some striped fabric very easily. First used was metallic paint to make the lines, Then free motion.

The moon was made with thread painting in metalic thead very tightly

I finished by appliquing fussy cut crane from commercial fabrics.

Something I’ve been working on

Abstract kites in a purple sky

Just out! Original hand painted silk abstract art quilt with applique in dreamy colors[ how’s that for a run on sentence?].  It’s purple, lime green,-blue and turquoise. The un-conventional quilting mimics the abstract background in shapes and colors. It’s 32 X 16. And..it just happens to be for sale…so contact me if interested.
